Hello, my name is Renee Lockhart. I earned my Primary Diploma after completing the 2004-2005 academic course from MTCNE under the training of Shannon Helfrich. I initially became introduced to Montessori through my eldest son. I was so impressed by the profound impact it was having on his growth and development that it altered my path in life and fostered a drive within to learn more about Montessori. It has been most rewarding to see my four children grow up in a close and caring community where their independence and freedom was not only supported, but encouraged. After graduation and for the past 15 years, I have had the pleasure of being a Primary Guide at the Montessori School of Greater Hartford located in West Hartford, CT. It has been amazing to be a part of the joy of learning for many children. In addition, I’ve completed SEED training and hosted a number of diversity, equity and inclusion workshops for staff. This winter, I will be participating in the Primary Consultant course. I am looking forward to this new adventure in my life.
